Slovenian company Bigfish is about to make a splash on the American market. Bigfish is a new folding bike company with an innovative, heavily patented technique for breaking down the bike.
Bigfish bikes afford the same riding comfort and characteristics as regular city bikes with equal distance between the front and back wheels and full size seat and handlebars. The innovative Click-Clack system and hinge-free frame allow the bike to be folded or unfolded in less than 15 seconds without the use of tools.
Basically 4 easy clicks fold the bike in on itself: the under seat hinge releases to fold the rear wheel up under the seat, the two handlebars fold down over the top tube and the front wheel folds up under the base. When folded, the bike is easy to roll along with you by the back wheel and light enough to carry up stairs, weighing in at only 12.5 kgs.
Watch Robert Logie, Sales and Marketing Manager, fold the cool orange colored Bigfish and put it back together again. I met Robert at the Bike Tweetup where he was really excited to win a pair of GORE derailleur cables during the raffle! For all you Interbikers, check out Bigfish at booth #6207.
