Protect Your Spork With The New SporkCase

SporkCase from Light My Fire

Swedish outdoor accessory maker Light My Fire continues to churn out innovative, well designed and just plain fun products. An updated FireSteel 2.0, the new SporkCase and multiple additions to the
Spork
family are just some of the great products you can expect to see this Fall.

I had such a fun time meeting Light My Fire founder Michael Odqvist, now the self proclaimed Fire Director. The company name comes from when Michael attended business school in Delaware during the 60's when the Doors were very popular.

The core values of Light My Fire are reflected in the company's seven commandments of business operation. Three of them are as follows:

1. If something has been done before it is not for us

2. If a new product idea doesn't make you smile, think twice

3. If a new product can't be built in Sweden, think three times

The new SporkCase ensures you never have to worry about your Spork getting broken, poking into your down gear or getting dirty at the bottom of your bag. The SporkCase fits up to two Spork Original or Spork Lefty. Made of environmentally friendly PP-plastic, the SporkCase is easy to clean and dishwasher safe.

The SporkCase will come in the standard 8 Light My Fire colors and be available from September 1st for $4.99.

Limited Edition Glowing Spork

If you are a Spork fanatic you know that each year Light My Fire creates a Limited Edition version based on a special theme. This year's theme is centered around what your Spork does at night while you sleep. The phosphorous, glow-in-the-dark Limited Edition Glowing Spork will be available from October 1st to December 31st. Retailing for $9.99, the Glowing Spork comes in a black box with an individually numbered certificate of authenticity.

Light My Fire FireSteel 2.0

The
FireSteel
has also been updated for next season with a safety whistle built into the strike handle. Now you will always have a means of calling for help handy while out in the backcountry. The FireSteel 2.0 will also be available this Fall.

So how many of you out there own a Spork? Anyone collected every single Limited Edition?
