Rapha Rendezvous (free)
The long awaited Rendezvous app from Rapha is finally here. Designed to make meeting up for group rides that much easier, Rendezvous lets you invite friends on rides and track their progress to the designated rendezvous spot in real time. So no more waiting around for your buddy that has overslept!
You can create public rides or private rides just for your friends, describe the ride details such as distance, terrain and required gear, then send and receive messages from everyone in the riding group.

Coleman Camping Cookbook And Meal Planner (free)
The new Coleman app helps you plan and make the perfect camping meal. You can search for recipes based on type of meal, equipment needed or ingredients. The app will also help you plan meals for the entire trip. Simply pick the number of days and campers and the app will generate your meal plan including shopping and equipments lists.
The North Face Trailhead (free)
Powered by Everytrail.com, The North Face Trailhead app finds the nearest hiking or biking trails based on your location. You can also search the database of over 300,000 trails to find the perfect one for you based on activity or length.
Once you head out on the trail, the Trailhead app will track your route, distance, speed and elevation in real-time. When you have finished your hike, you can share all your trip data on Facebook, Twitter or Everytrail.com.
Nike+ GPS ($1.99)
The Nike+ GPS app records your pace, distance, time, calories and running route using your iPhone's GPS and accelerometer instead of external sensors. As you run, you get voice feedback on how you are doing and when you have accomplished your goal, fun motivational messages from Nike's top athletes will be waiting for you.

The What Knot To Do app from Columbia is your pocket guide to 70 frequently used knots in the outdoors. Organized into 6 categories, each knot includes an illustrated example as well as step by step tying instructions.
Peakfinder USA ($1.99)
Following the success of Peakfinder Alps app, the new Peakfinder USA West version gives your precise location as well as a panoramic view of your surroundings and terrain, including nearby mountain peaks.
