Sea To Summit Down Sleeping Bags

Sea To Summit Alpine Series down sleeping bag

Not happy with the current down sleeping bags on the market, Sea To Summit brought in new materials and a fresh take on design to create a range of better performing bags. Lighter and warmer with key moisture management technology, the Sea To Summit down sleeping bags are set to create a new benchmark for the industry this Spring.

The Alpine and Traverse series bags are filled with 850+ loft European Goose Down and protected by Sea To Summit's 3D NanoShell fabric. To help eliminate condensation on both the inside and outside of the bag, 3D NanoShell is constructed of a breathable water and wind repellent face fabric with an inner 3D barrier which keeps the down dry and able to loft.

Rated to a lower limit of -20C, the mummy fit Alpine Series is built for those high altitude or extreme winter camping expeditions. Rated to a lower limit of -11C, the Traverse series has a more relaxed mummy shape and can open out into a full duvet for trekking or Alpine hut sleeping.

All the bags feature an oversized neck collar and dual adjustment drawcord hood to seal in heat and keep it trapped close to your body. A small security pocket inside the bag is great for stowing your iPod, Kleenex, cough drops or earplugs.

The Micro series is Sea To Summit's lightest weight bag with 850+ loft Eastern European Goose Down and a 2D NanoShell breathable, water resistant shell. The tapered rectangular design of the 650+ loft Trek series is perfect for adventure travel or hosteling around the world.

All the Sea To Summit down sleeping bags come complete with three storage sacks: a compression sack for easy packing, an oversized mesh storage cell, and a large cotton sack to protect your bag when washing. The Sea To Summit website offers a great chart comparing all the features of each down sleeping bag of all the different series.
