This summer, both Clif Bar and Honey Stinger have come out with new energy snacks featuring light fruit flavors that offer the perfect fuel for a hot summer day. Without weighing you down, these new bars, waffles, and gels provide a quick burst of energy using mainly organic, all natural ingredients in the process.
If you are a citrus fan, you will love the new lemon flavored Honey Stinger Waffle ($1.39 single, $22.24 box of 16). Stinger Waffles are now available in honey, vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, and the new lemon flavor, with each individually wrapped waffle providing 160 calories of quick access energy.
Following the special limited edition release of Gary's Panforte Bars, Clif is adding numerous flavors to their popular line of Clif Shot Bloks and Builder's Protein Bars, while adding a full new line of fruit and nut bars called Kit's Organic.
The three new Builder's Protein Bar flavors include S'mores, Crunchy Peanut Butter, and Chocolate Chip. The Builder’s bar provides 20g of protein, the vitamins and minerals you need to boost protein metabolism, and carbohydrates for sustained energy, making a great post workout recovery snack. Clif Kit’s Organic fruit and nut bars provide a good source of fiber with just under a serving of fruit and nuts in every bar.
