No more removing your phone this winter to change your music or start recording on your GoPro action camera. The SnowSport Gloves from BearTek enable remote access and control of all your Bluetooth gadgets, so you can focus solely on the powder.
The BearTek gloves work with two interchangeable modules that plug into a connector inside the glove’s zipper pocket. The Bluetooth/Wireless Sync Module enables you to control your phone, while the Camera Module is designed to control your GoPro.
This technology works through a simple finger touch control system. Various touch points on the glove give you wireless control of your phone, music, media, and camera – letting you answer calls, play/pause and skip music tracks, and capture your ride in video or photos.
For example, to answer a call or play your music, tap and release the thumb pad to top index finger touchpoint once. When working with your GoPro, press the thumb pad to the top index finger touchpoint to start recording and the bottom index finger touchpoint to stop recording.
The SnowSport Gloves themselves are made with goatskin leather palms and fingers for extra grip. A 4-ounce PrimaLoft internal liner keeps your fingers warm, while the windproof and waterproof Aquatex insert ensures you can stay out on the mountain all day. Conductive fingertip pads mean you can still operate your phone if needed without removing your gloves.
The BearTek Bluetooth SnowSport Gloves retail for $120 and are available now from the company website.
