Similar to the Cycloc, Lift is a minimalist yet fully functional wall hook that provides a more fashionable way to store your bike or other gear. It’s a simple way of turning unused wall space into storage, with a clean and elegant design that won’t look ugly hanging there by itself.
Lift’s dual wood and steel hanger is tough enough for your bike, but sleek enough for your jacket and scarves. The metal arm can be slotted in from the left or right, making it super easy to install and fit in with your other furniture or wall hangings.
Lift can be installed on all kinds of surfaces, whether you need it in your garage or your living room. All the hardware is covered by a leather insert for an unobtrusive, low-key design, and an optional plate can be installed to protect walls from tire tread or dirt from your second bike wheel.
Lift’s T-shaped hook handles multiple items at once, or heavier items up to 50 pounds (25 kilograms). Lift is scaled to fit bike wheels from the smallest kid’s bike up to a 29″ x 3″ mountain bike wheel.
The bike hook won’t take up a ton of space on your wall–just a 11″ x 2″ x 4″ overall footprint. The optional bottom tread guard is only 6″ x 2″ x 0.5″.
Installing Lift is easy–simply screw it into any supporting wall stud with the supplied hardware, then add the finishing touch by covering the hardware with the supplied synthetic leather strip. That’s it.
For $45, you can pre-order your own Lift bike hook in black or white over on Kickstarter (today is the last day). Delivery is expected in August.
