Last week, Light & Motion introduced their latest helmet light–the Imjin 800–great for long-distance commuting, bicycle touring, and adventure racing. The brand’s most compact, powerful, lightweight corded bike light ever, the Imjin 800 delivers 800 lumens of light and weighs less than 85 grams.
The Imjin 800 replaces the current favorite bike commute system–the Stella–while being lighter and more powerful. The Imjin’s custom-engineered reflector eliminates hot spots in the beam for enhanced trail definition, and amber side markers provide 180 degrees of visibility for increased safety. All Light & Motion lights feature a regulated output that keeps the lumens stable through runtime so you don’t lose performance over time.
Imjin’s compact 2-cell battery powers the light for two hours on high. The light is also compatible with the full line of Light & Motion batteries (including 2-, 3-, and 6-cell Li-ion battery packs) for a much longer runtime, making it perfect for bicycle touring and 24-hour racing.
The complete package is fully submersible in up to 1 meter of water and is also tested to withstand multiple drops on concrete. Designed with helmet mounting in mind, the system includes a GoPro interface, in addition to a low-profile bar mount.
The Light & Motion Imjin 800 retails for $199 and is available now.
