Gregory Lightweight Trekking Packs

gregory packs

Scheduled to hit shelves next March 2017, the Paragon (men) and Maven (women) are Gregory’s new fully featured, lightweight trekking packs. While comfortable, adjustable, and loaded with functionality, these packs won’t weigh you down on the trail–weights start at just 2 pounds, 15 ounces.

For its new lightweight backpacks, Gregory combined carefully selected, durable yet lightweight materials with the new Aerolon suspension system. This suspension system uses a size-specific 7001 aluminum chassis for load stabilization, coupled with a mesh-encapsulated Matrix-foam backpanel for ventilation and moisture evaporation.

While each pack comes in two different frame sizes, the back length can be further adjusted for an individual fit along with the hipbelt. When the hipbelt is adjusted, the pockets shift forwards or backwards to keep the contents always within easy reach while you are on the go.

Other noteworthy features include the shoulder harness sunglass quickstow, integrated raincover and Sidekick pack, a sleeve for a hydration reservoir that doubles as a daypack for summit bids. For those that want to drop the weight even further, the lid and partition inside the pack can be removed.

The men’s Paragon comes in two frame sizes and four capacities: 38, 48, 58 and 68 liters. The women’s Maven comes in two frame sizes and four capacities: 35, 45, 55 and 65 liters.
