While not exactly ground breaking news, all you ultralighters out there will be psyched on the new titanium mini fork from Snow Peak. Designed to nestle perfectly within the brand’s Ti-Mini Solo cooking set, the Ti-Mini Fork completes the ultimate backcountry eating and cooking setup.
Obviously made from titanium, the mini fork measures 1.2 inches wide by 4.5 inches long. Weighing just 0.45 ounces, the mini fork version cuts 0.11 ounces off the weight of the longer Titanium Foon — you won’t want to use it for eating out of dehydrated meal pouches, however, as it will leave you with completely gummed up hands.
Paired with the Ti-Mini Solo Combo 2.0, which includes a 30-fluid-ounce titanium cooking pot, lid, 18.3-fluid-ounce titanium cup, and mesh bag, your whole backcountry cooking and eating setup weighs less than 6 ounces before fuel. That’s pretty great.
