Vibram FiveFingers V-Aqua Amphibious Shoe

FiveFingers V-Aqua

I know what you are going to say and the answer is yes, FiveFingers are still very much around. While people may not be thru-hiking the PCT in FiveFingers anymore, I see a huge benefit in wearing these shoes for water sports. And with the new V-Aqua, Vibram makes FiveFingers even more water friendly.

The new Vibram FiveFingers V-Aqua is perfect for those water sports where going barefoot is not an option but you still want the dexterity — think rocky beaches, river crossings, lava reefs, canoe or kayaking trips, and scorching hot sand.

The snug fitting, lightweight design features a 3.7 mm Vibram Megagrip outsole with perforations that allow water to move quickly through the shoe for quick drying. The Megagrip compound sticks to both dry and wet terrain while maintaining a high level of durability.

Inside the shoe you’ll find a 2 mm EVA insole and liner treated with a silicon pattern to help keep your foot from sliding around. The lightweight upper is made from a quick-dry synthetic material and features a Velcro closure for easy adjustment when the shoe gets wet.

The Vibram FiveFingers V-Aqua retails for $90 and is available now for both men and women.
