Mountainsmith to Reintroduce Line of Sleeping Bags

Mountainsmith sleeping bag

To celebrate their 40th anniversary, Mountainsmith gets set to debut a revamped line of sleeping bags. Called the Vision 20 and the Wisp 32, the bags feature 800-fill dry down with a flexible baffle construction for added comfort without sacrificing warmth.

The original Vision and Wisp bags from Mountainsmith received many accolades in the outdoor industry. The company hopes the revamped versions will be no different.

The Wisp 32 ($260) is rated to 32 degrees F for three season use. Weighing one pound 13 ounces, the sleeping bag is filled with water-resistant 800-fill white goose down.

The Vision 20 ($320) is rated with 20 degrees F so could possibly see you through into the start of winter or early spring. Weighing two pounds 6 ounces, the sleeping bag is also struffed with 800-fill water resistant white goose down.

Both bags use Mountainsmith’s Flexibaffle construction where the down is sewn into differential-cut box baffles with elastic stitching. This enables you to move around a bit easier in these mummy-style bags while also protecting the thermal efficiency of the fill.

Both the Wisp 32 and Vision 20 come in a Regular and Long size and will start shipping in January.
