For many years now, Inov-8 fans have been pushing the brand to create a mid-level or boot-cut shoe. Their dreams have finally come true with two new fast and light hikers just released. And to make things even better, the boots feature the company’s new graphene outsoles for superior grip over slippery terrain.

More boot-cut running shoe than full on traditional hiker, the Roclite 345 GTX ($175) and Roclite 335 ($150) both feature Inov-8’s  graphene-enhanced G-GRIP outsole that adds a huge level of durability as well as better grip over slippery terrain. Multi-directional, claw-shaped cleats, each with a wide contact area, help with grip over unpredictable terrain and quick release of any debris.

The Roclite 345 GTX uses features a Gore-Tex lined upper for protection from the elements, while the Roclite 335 features a softshell upper lined with PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Eco for added warmth in colder weather.

The fast and light hikers are built around the natural shape of your foot and designed to adapt to the movement of your foot in motion. The shock-absorbing midsole adds a level of comfort, while the higher boot-cut ensures superb ankle support, helping you maintain form even as you get fatigued.

Both hikers feature an 8mm drop. The Roclite 345 GTX weighs 345 grams or 12.1 ounces, while the Roclite 335 weighs 335 grams or 11.07 ounces. The Roclite 345 GTX comes in a men’s and women’s version, with the Roclite 335 serving as a unisex boot — all are available now.
