Just in time for all those summer adventures, Klymit adds three new sleeping pads to its Static series. The Static V Luxe SL, Insulated Static V Luxe, and Static V Long are all lightweight sleeping pads that will add a bit of luxury to your sleep setup.
The Klymit Static V Luxe SL ($119.95, pictured top) is made from a soft and quiet 30 denier polyester to deliver the perfect balance of weight and durability. The pad features Klymit’s signature body mapping technology and V-chamber design with side rails to keep you centered on the pad. The pad has a tapered bottom to trim weight and weighs 21 ounces with an R-value of 1.3. The pad is the thickest and longest pad in the Static series with dimensions of 78” x 27” x 3.5.”
The insulated equivalent is the Insulated Static V Luxe SL ($139.95), the warmest, thickest, and longest pad in the Static series with an R-value of 6.5 and dimensions of 78” x 27” x 3.5.” The pad is made from the same 30 denier polyester fabric and also features Klymit’s signature body mapping technology, V-chamber design, and side rails. The Insulated Static V Luxe SL weighs 31.3 ounces.
Finally, the Static V Long ($69.95) is the longest pad in the Static series, designed to fit backpackers and campers up to 6’6.” The pad is made from a 75 denier polyester and has an R-value of 1.3. The V-chamber design conforms to the shape of your body while maintaining ample, lofted air pockets so that side, back, and stomach sleepers can all rest comfortably. The Static V Long is 78” x 23” x 2.5” and weighs 21.6 ounces.
