MSR Adds to Pot Lineup for Spring 2020

MSR Ceramic Pot

Outdoor Retailer is just around the corner and with it comes brand announcements for all their new Spring 2020 gear. The latest from MSR includes an updated line of Ceramic Nonstick pots along with a new set of lightweight hard-anodized aluminum Trail Lite pots.

The Ceramic Nonstick pots are made from ultralight hard-anodized aluminum with MSR’s Fusion ceramic coating on the interior to make them nonstick. The coating is safe with metal utensils, safe at high heat, and safe for your health. While other ceramic coatings tend to break down at around 650 degrees F, the PFTE- and PFOA-free Fusion ceramic coating holds strong when used at temperatures up to 850 degrees F.

The Ceramic Nonstick pots will be available in multiple sizes — a 1.7 liter Solo Pot, a 2.5 liter pot for groups of 2-4 people, a 2-Pot Set option (featuring a 1.5 liter and 2.5 liter pot), and Ceramic Skillet. The entire lineup features MSR’s easy to use Talon Pot Handle and a strainer lid. The pots are designed to nest inside one another and conveniently hold MSR mugs and plates, depending on the pot size.

The Ceramic Solo Pot weighs 207 grams (7.3 ounces) and retails for $49.95. The Ceramic 2.5L Pot weighs 286 grams (10.1 ounces) and retails for $54.95. The Ceramic 2-Pot Set retails for $79.95, while the Ceramic Skillet weighs 193 grams (6.8 ounces) and retails for $39.95.

Also new for Spring 2020 are MSR’s hard-anodized aluminum Trail Lite pots, available in 1.3 liter (204 grams or 7.2 ounces, $29.95) and 2 liter (244 grams or 8.6 ounces, $34.95) options. Lightweight yet durable, these reliable, workhorse pots are perfect for preparing simple one-pot meals on the trail and building a cook kit that will last.

MSR’s new Ceramic Pots, Ceramic Skillet, and Trail Lite pots will start shipping in February 2020.
