While GoPro cameras are great, one slightly annoying feature is having to remove the camera from its housing in order to change or recharge batteries. The new Mota device solves this problem by using wireless charging technology to recharge the action camera’s battery with it still secure in the housing–not to mention charge a spare battery at the same time.

In preparation for the upcoming holiday season, GoPro not only drops the price of their user-friendly Hero4 Session but also introduces a new basic but well-connected action camera in the Hero+. At $199.99, the Hero+ adds wireless connectivity and improved specs for around $70 more than the existing Hero.
This summer, I have been playing around with two GoPro lights–the Light & Motion Sidekick and the Knog Qudos. Both purpose built for use with a GoPro or other action camera, these little lights make nighttime and underwater photography a realistic option. Looks like the rumors of GoPro coming out with a Polaroid Cube killer were true. Yesterday, the company announced the latest camera in their Hero lineup–the cube shaped Hero4 Session. The smallest and lightest camera GoPro has produced to date, the Session comes complete in a simple, easy to use package. I expect this one to appeal more to the masses than the other Hero4 action cameras.
