Any claims on how it would compare to GoreTex as it sounds very similar at least on paper?

I will find out much more about it at OR next month but I think the biggest difference is that it is a water resistant fabric- not fully waterproof like Gore-Tex. So probably not something you want to wear in the absolute worst weather conditions or torrential downpour. Keep the questions coming everyone as I will be sure to get them answered when I meet Polartec in a few weeks.
