The Stealth Hoodie softshell jacket has been a bestseller for Triple Aught Designs since its debut in 2002. Looking to now update the piece, TAD took the best of modern technology from Schoeller Textiles and transformed the new Stealth Hoodie LT into a rugged, lightweight jacket for all seasons and all environments.
The Stealth Hoodie LT is built around Schoeller's c_change waterproof breathable membrane that adapts to the environment both inside and outside of your jacket. When you start to heat up, the pores in the c_change membrane open up, channeling moisture out of the jacket to keep you cool and dry. When you are cold, the pores remain constricted in order to retain valuable heat.
Both the Stealth Hoodie LT's face fabric and tricot lining are treated with Schoeller's 3XDRY finish, which combines two technologies in one textile. The face fabric repels dirt and water, while the inside lining absorbs moisture and distributes it over a large area for quick evaporation.
The 4-way stretch nylon face fabric is further treated with Schoeller's coldblack finish that reduces heat build-up on dark fabric and protects you from harmful UV rays. Even under the baking sun, your Stealth Hoodie LT will remain cool to the touch, causing you to sweat less and perform better in the heat.
Apart from the fabric, the Stealth Hoodie LT incorporates the usual TAD design features such as subdued colors (black, green, grey), 6 zippered pockets with media ports and D rings for gear attachment, velcro cuffs and pit zips.
