Wireless Headset And Intercom For Your Snow Sports Helmet

Sena Bluetooth Stereo Headset and intercom

Annoyed by headphones that keep falling out when you ski or snowboard? Ever wanted to chat with your friends while you all ride together? Bluetooth headset maker Sena has created a new wireless system that will enable you to not only listen to your music, but have intercom conversations with your slope buddies as well.

The SPH10S is a Bluetooth stereo headset and intercom system designed specifically for snow sports helmets. The system is simple to install and doesn’t interfere with your helmet comfort or original fit. Easy access buttons and volume jog dial make operating the headset a breeze, even while wearing thick gloves.

The wireless headset enables you to call handsfree on your phone and listen to stereo music from your phone or MP3 player. You can even wirelessly connect with your GPS device for handsfree backcountry navigation. The intercom system lets you have a 3-way conversation with your friends up to 900 meters (1/2 mile) away.

The SPH10S gets 10 hours of talk time and 7 days standby time on one charge. The Lithium Polymer battery takes about 2.5 hours to recharge at the end of the day or even after a weekend on the slopes. The wireless headphones have built in noise reduction to better hear your music and wind noise reduction for people to better hear you on a call.

The Sena SPH10S Bluetooth stereo headset and intercom system is compatible with Giro, Smith, and Burton snow sports helmets. The SPH10S package includes the snapfit earpads with built-in Bluetooth, stereo audio cable, and USB power cable.

The Sena Bluetooth Stereo Headset & Intercom for snow sports helmets retails for $219 (€179 in Europe) and can be purchased from the company website.
