A Wrinkle-Free Bike Commute With The Henty Wingman

Henty Wingman Suit Bag

Do you stuff your nicely pressed suit or work clothes into a backpack when you head out on your bike commute only to show up at the office a wrinkled mess? Australian company Henty Designs has created a bike friendly roll up suit bag that can safely hold not only your work clothes, but all your essentials, ensuring you show up to the office looking like you were driven in a limo.

The Wingman is a garment bag that features semi-rigid, 100% recycled plastic vertical ribs that restrict the diameter of the suit bag when rolled, minimising garment creases in comparison to traditional folded suit bags. The Wimgman rolls up into a compact satchel-style bag that can be carried comfortably on your back when riding or walking and easily fits into the overhead bin for use when traveling.

Unrolled, the garment bag measures 22 x 39.8 inches and rolls up into a tubular shape with a diameter of approximately 9.8 inches. A foldable hook coat hanger collapses for rolling, then can be opened again to hang your clothes at home or at the office. In addition to a padded shoulder strap, the Wingman features a stabilisation strap for secure riding.

A 12L sausage-shaped gym/utility bag fits inside the rolled suit bag to carry your other clothes, shoes, towels, and toiletries. This bag can either be used together or separately from the garment bag. The outside of the garment bag features a zippered side pocket with computer pouch that can accommodate an iPad, notebook, phone, keys, and other work essentials.

The Wingman comes with a high visibility waterproof rain jacket with taped seams for those wet bike commute days. Reflective piping adds low light visibility and a webbing loop enables you to clip an extra blinky light to your bag.

The Henty Wingman suit bag retails for roughly $190 and can be purchased from the company website. I am curious about any Trademark issues that might arise from the product name, as Timbuk2 has been using Wingman for their travel bag for quite some time.
