Andy

Great tips. I'll be hiking the trail this July! Can't wait!

Amy Jurries

Psyched you will be hiking it Andy! You will have to tell us all about it. Can't wait to do it myself.

Rebecca

I've done it twice and am feeling the itch to do it again! I'd love to spend a longer time on the trail next time, taking the opportunity to climb peaks, explore side basins, and stop and enjoy certain areas instead of blowing through them to make the miles.

Betty Renfro

This one is on my bucket list. Have a friend that will be doing it for the second time this summer. I like Greg idea of going in September.

Scout S.

Has anyone solo hiked the JMT that has any tips?
I am a wanderlust outdoor ed student considering doing it next month.

Gil

One thing left out of the gear list is water purification. A Steri pen seems like a good light choices for the JMT.

Tom K

This is great information. I am in my planning stages for this hike. This will be my first time hiking this trail. Are there any tips for food supplies?
Any additional information you have will be helpful.
