Nau Launches Spring Pedal Collection

Poncho Via_front

Last week, Nau launched their Spring 2014 Pedal Collection, a new and updated bike-ready offering for spring urban riding. Built for the city dwelling outdoor enthusiast, the pieces work technical materials and hidden performance details into a line of fashionable commuter wear that easily transitions from ride to office.

Weather resistant construction, smart pocket placement, and reflective accents add bike-friendly details to the otherwise fashionable apparel you have come to expect from Nau. Some key pieces include the short sleeve M2 Zip Polo ($98) for men. Inspired by a bike jersey and made from a blend of merino wool and a Tencel knit fabric, the polo shirt wicks away moisture to ensure you arrive at your destination sweat-free.

On warmer days, the featherweight Lightbeam Shirt ($150) features a DWR finish for weather protection and a stowable reflective tape on the back for increased visibility. The twill Utilize Pants ($100) come with articulated knees for unrestricted pedaling and a roll up leg hem with reflective tape.

One of my favorite pieces from the women’s Pedal Collection is the Poncho Via ($275). With a cape inspired silhouette, this hardshell poncho is made from a three-layer blend of recycled polyester and cotton, with sealed seams and a weather resistant DWR finish to shield your clothes from the rain. The belted waist ties at the front and a long back protects your seat on wet commutes.

The Nau Spring Pedal Collection is available now from select retailers.
