7 Bike Commute Essentials

Bike Commute Essentials

Thankfully, I don’t have to commute every day to and from work, but I do ride my bike around town to run errands, attend events, or go out at night. The following seven essentials I either currently use, or sit on my immediate wish list to round out my base bike commute kit.

Winter is over, ski resorts have closed for the season, the ice is off the lake—that can mean only one thing. Time to get your mountain bike on. Whatever your style—enduro, XC, downhill, beginner, or seasoned shredder, here are some essentials to keep you riding happy.

Day Hiking Essentials

IMG_1808Spring has sprung. Time to hibernate your skis, dust off your trail shoes, and head for the hills. Below you will find a list of 13 items that currently make up my day hiking kit – basic essentials you need to have a safe and fun day out.

Ten Spring/Summer Travel Essentials

Essentials

As another spring and summer travel season arrives, my bags remain perpetually packed. You may notice plenty of of dark colors in the ten essentials above- when traveling for extended periods of time (especially to Europe), I tend to mix and match along one color scheme. This seems to make packing so much easier, where you can later add pops of color in your scarf, watch, or other accessories. I also ensure the majority of my gear can serve double duty for more active pursuits such as hiking or biking.
