Brooks-Range Backcountry Multi-tool

For Spring 2011, Brooks-Range Mountaineering is branching out to provide you with all the gear you need for your backcountry adventures. The new range includes tools, such as the Backcountry Multi-tool, duffel bags, sleeping pads, outerwear, sleeping bags and tents.

The Backcountry Multi-Tool is a Brooks-Range exclusive design. The lightweight tool includes a serrated knife, six screwdriver bits including an 1/8th Allen Wrench, #3 Posi for bindings, a T20 Torx for DynaFit bindings, a four size wrench, bottle opener and pliers.

Made of the highest grade stainless steel and aluminum, the Backcountry Multi-tool weighs just 6 oz. and folds up to 4". Retailing for $79.95, this is an essential tool to throw into your backpack before heading out for some alpine touring or climbing.

Brooks Range Alpini Sleeping Pad

The new Brooks-Range Alpini Sleeping Pad is a torso sized mattress that is meant to keep your core insulated but your backpack load light. The Alpini is perfect for those backcountry adventurers who need to trim down to just the bare essentials.

Die-cut foam inside the inflatable pad helps cut down on weight while also adding insulation by reducing interior airflow. The textured surface of the sleeping pad keeps you from slipping off during the night. For those bad weather days or rest days when you are stuck in the tent, the built in checker board sure can come in handy!

The Brooks-Range Alpini Sleeping Pad will retail for $59.95.

Brooks Range duffel bags

Looking to take on The North Face Base Camp Duffel dominance, the new Brooks-Range duffel bags are hardcore. Available in four sizes, the larger bags will store and keep all your expedition gear safe. A unique U-shaped main zipper gives the duffel bag structure, makes the bag more durable and gives you easy access to all your gear.

Side handles and hideaway padded backpack straps provide you with options for carrying heavier loads. The inside of the duffel is fully lined with multiple organization compartments and pockets.
