Following on the success of the 2011 men's mountain bike shoe line, Vaude decided to finally launch their first women's mountain bike shoe for Spring 2012. The lightweight Soneza RC offers the female rider a combination of both style and top level performance.
Made from air permeable mesh material, the Soneza RC is the perfect mountain bike shoe for those hot summer days. The women's specific bike last, together with Vaude's heel collar and three adjustable Velcro closure system, deliver plenty of support and stability to your ride.
All of Vaude's new mountain bike shoes feature the newly developed Race NT sole. This stiff nylon sole with TPU tread provides exceptional power transfer to the pedal and is compatible with all standard clipless pedal systems. The sole offers lightweight and effective traction for both carrying and pushing your bike, while two spikes can be added to the front toe segment to give you even better traction over difficult terrain.
For 2012, the men get two new mountain bike shoe models as well. Both models include uppers with a mesh construction, including the tongue, creating a lightweight and well ventilated mountain bike shoe. A laminated toe cap provides extra durability and abrasion resistance.
The Rosco RC comes with a triple Velcro closure system and the Fase RC with a double Velcro closure and ratchet buckle. The Fase RC has been designed specifically for those riders that like to ride technical, fast mountain bike races.
All the new Vaude mountain bike shoes will be available early Spring 2012.
