GoToob Squeezable Travel Tube Review

GoToob Squeezable Travel Tube

As I have been living out of a suitcase the past few weeks, travel bottles are at the front of my mind. GoToob, by San Francisco company humangear, is the first travel bottle or travel tube that I have found where I can be 100% certain I won't find shampoo all over my bag when I arrive at my destination.

GoToob travel tubes are made from a rugged silicone that is extremely easy to squeeze. The silicone is FDA approved food-safe, 100% BPA-free and PC-free. A special no-drip valve keeps the liquid from running out into the securely closed cap. A window on the collar can be rotated to reveal the words "soap", "lotion", "shampoo", etc. so you can remember what you placed in each tube.

Earlier this year, I bought probably ten GoToob travel bottles in various sizes to use for flying as well as for food containers when outdoors. I have filled them with peanut butter, Nutella, honey and even jam to throw in my pack along with a couple of bagels to eat on the trail.

I find it so much easier to simply squeeze out my preferred topping at mealtime (sometimes Nutella straight into my mouth!) rather than have to pre-make sandwiches before I go. If you find it hard to open gel packs on the bike as I do, you can even squeeze 2-3 gel packs into a small GoToob and throw it in the back of your jersey.

In terms of flying, the TSA friendly 3.0 oz GoToob size is perfect for your shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry detergent, lotion, or just about anything. I even put toothpaste in a GoToob so I don't have to buy those overpriced travel size toothpaste tubes that last only about 2 days.

The large opening makes the GoToob extremely easy to fill and clean. The GoToob travel bottles come in a variety of colors and three sizes: 1.25 oz ($6.45), 2.0 oz ($7.95) and 3.0 oz ($8.95). Humangear offers a lifetime warranty on their GoToob travel tubes so you know these are meant to last.
