If there is any canine that knows how to be warm and look stylish at the same time, it's a Canadian dog. Playing on the popular Canadian winter apparel designer Canada Goose, Toronto based Canada Pooch designs fashionable and functional outerwear and accessories to keep your dog warm, comfortable, dry, and looking good.
Whether your dog's daily outing includes rigorous trail hikes, play sessions in the park, or casual city walks, the Canada Pooch range of styles ensures versatility and protection. Animal friendly, Canada Pooch apparel and accessories do not contain any animal products, including down, fur, or leather.
Products range from hoodie sweatshirts to fully insulated vests with fleece linings. One of my favorites is the Everest Explorer (from $39.99), a winter ready cargo jacket. With a waterproof shell, faux down stuffing, and soft fleece lining, this jacket will keep your dog cozy in even the worst of weather. The hood is removable (thankfully as Lola hates hoods) and four cargo pockets enable Fido to carry his own snacks on the trail.
We all know how dirty dogs can get, especially when playing outside. Luckily, all the Canada Pooch gear is machine washable. Prices start at $37.99 and up depending on size. Instead of the usual S, M, and L sizing, the Canada Pooch outerwear includes a variety of sizes ranging from 10-26, ensuring you get the best fit for your dog. The company even provides a helpful size chart that matches breed, weight, and body length to the correct size.
Sadly, Canada Pooch does not yet sell online, only through retail locations across Canada. It looks as though those Canadian canines will remain a bit more stylish than ours, at least for now.
