For Spring 2017, Big Agnes adds 12 new bags to their sleeping bag lineup, including updates to the existing line and three new major collections. The new sleeping bags include eight new traditional mummy bags, some with adjustable fit, two zipperless sleep-system bags, and a new lightweight double wide bag built for couples.
Sidney 25°F and Hazel 15°F women’s bags
These women’s specific sleeping bags offer a customizable fit for comfort and to prevent cold air spots. These bags feature the REM Pad Sleeve — a detachable pad sleeve which secures your sleeping pad to the bag and also doubles as the storage sack for your sleeping bag. The bags feature 650 fill DownTek water-repellent down, vertical side wall construction to create an ergonomical fit that traps warmth and fun print patterns for a unique look. These bags are also available in men’s models — the Wiley 30°F, Skeeter SL 20°F and Beryl SL 0°F. Note: the customizable fit is not incorporated into men’s bags. Sorry guys.
Thunderhead SL 30°F and Pin Ears SL 20°F zipperless Big Agnes system bags
These bags feature a zipperless design that cuts noise and weight, while functioning just as well as a zippered bag. The top one-third of the bag features a wrapping quilt that tucks into the side of the bag and has a hook and loop to secure its place. It features an oversized anti-draft collar and a half pad sleeve to keep you firmly in place through the night.
Flume UL 30°F, Hitchens UL 20°F and Crosho UL -20°F bags
These 850-fill DownTek sleeping bags are the lightest in the Big Agnes line, featuring a traditional mummy construction, without a pad sleeve. Lightweight materials are durable and soft to the touch, vertical side walls help to trap heat closer to your body and contoured hood baffles cradle your head for a more comfortable fit.
Sentinel 30°F double bag
This new double wide bag with quilted construction is a lightweight, backcountry bed for couples. The roomy bag offers supremely comfortable internal fabric that is soft to the touch and an integrated pad sleeve that accommodates one double wide or two single pads.
