Best known for their protective phone cases, LifeProof has now expanded into backpacks. Designed to protect and organize your all of daily essentials, the packs are water-resistant and come with tons of smart storage solutions.
Available in four different styles — the 18-liter Quito, the 20-liter Squamish, the 22-liter Goa, and the 32-liter Squamish XL — the backpacks are all made from water-repellent and durable Cordura fabric. Along the front of the pack, you’ll find a sealed, fleece-lined weather-resistant tech pocket (multiple ones in the larger packs) that can hold phones as large as an iPhone 8 Plus with a cord pass-through for your headphones or charging cables.
The backpacks are all hydration compatible, with a dedicated pocket big enough to hold a 3-liter reservoir. Straps across the front of the pack can be used to tie down a jacket or hook up your skateboard when not in use.
The larger packs all include further internal organization pockets, a discreet side stash pocket for passports, wallets, etc., water bottle pockets, and a separate sealed, water-resistant laptop (up to 15″) and tablet side pocket for quick access in TSA lines. The Squamish XL features a further zippered pocket at the bottom of the pack for keeping tools, a spare tube, and other bike commute essentials handy.
The LifeProof backpacks come in three different colors (black, grey, and red) and retail for $100-$180 depending on size and style. The LifeProof packs are available now from the company website.
