I met Abbie Durkee, the founder of women's bike apparel company My Alibi, at an OIWC event last month. An inspirational woman, she started My Alibi three years ago with a passion to persuade more women out of their cars and onto their bikes, all while looking good doing it. My Alibi's goal is to make women feel beautiful and confident while riding their bike.

UK company Create Bikes is on a mission to take the fixie out of the hands of the high fashionistas and bring it back to its roots as an affordable bike that is easy to maintain. With simplicity yet style, the Create fixie or track bike built in the classic geometry, harks back to the days of the original reckless and agile bike couriers.
Kolelinia is a concept for riding your bike on a bike path in the sky constructed of steel wire. Architect Martin Angelov created the Kolelinia project for the Line of Site International Architecture Competition and won the City Transportation Interchange section. Martin later presented his concept at the TEDx conference after a few design refinements. This bike path promises to not only provide a means of transport but quite an experience!
