Mountain bike apparel company Kitsbow announced the addition of a new road line, available now. The complete collection includes a jersey, bib short, windbreaker, arm and knee warmers, all with the same minimalist aesthetic and well thought out design details of the brand’s popular mountain bike apparel. Best of all? The pieces are named after some of my favorite road rides in Sonoma County.
California based mountain bike apparel company Kitsbow introduces its first glove to the accessory lineup–a leather, long-finger mountain bike glove called the Men’s All-Mountain Glove. Looking to the past for inspiration, the team took classic leather driving gloves and updated them with modern touches for a comfortable and custom fit.
The founding fathers of mountain biking all wore jeans (sometimes complete with knee pads) and wool shirts. While most modern mountain bikers now dress head to toe in lycra, California based mountain bike apparel brand Kitsbow wants to bring back a bit of that nostalgia with the Drifter Jean and Icon Shirt–classic pieces perhaps more appropriate now for the urban cyclist.
Ever since Kitsbow launched their high-end mountain biking apparel line last fall, I have been anxiously awaiting the brand's branch out into women's gear. That day has finally come. Kitsbow recently announced the availability of the new Women's Soft Shell A/M Short, hopefully soon to be followed up by jerseys, jackets, and other apparel for a full women's all mountain apparel line.
