Fjallraven Stubben Backpack Doubles As Place To Sit

Fjallraven Stubben Backpack

With the new Stubben backpack from Fjallraven, you will always have a comfortable place to take a break. With an integrated steel frame and a foam padded seat, the Stubben makes not only a nice place to sit but a great pack to carry for a long day hiking, fishing, hunting or traveling in the outdoors.

The 27L top loading main compartment holds everything you need for a long daytrip. A main zippered opening also gives you front access to your gear which comes in handy for grabbing your thermos, snacks or a warm jacket while seated.

The backpack's internal steel frame creates a stool structure which is comfortable to sit on no matter your size. If it has been raining or snowing, a hidden seat protector in a wood stump design pulls out to cover the padded seat top, ensuring your pants won't get wet.

The Stubben backpack is made from a ruggedized version of Fjallraven's dirt and water resistant G-1000 fabric. The inside of the backpack is orange, making it easier to find the gear you are looking for even in low light conditions.

Two zip pockets on the front of the pack add extra storage capacity. The smaller pocket on the front of the lid is convenient for storing glasses, GPS, camera or other small items, while a larger pocket at the base of the pack is great for housing maps or an extra pair of gloves. Further storage accessories can be attached to the sides of the pack for carrying a thermos or other gear.

The Fjallraven Stubben will be in stores next Fall 2011.
