Petzl has teamed up with the Access Fund to release a compilation of ten short climbing films. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale of the $10 All Access DVD goes to support the Access Fund and their Land Conservation Campaign.
The Access Fund Land Conservation Campaign (AFLCC) is the first ever multi-million dollar revolving loan program that provides local climbing organizations and other agencies with the funds and expertise needed to act quickly to save threatened climbing areas.
Petzl is committed to long term investment and support of the AFLCC. Petzl's John Evans decided to reach beyond the business side of the industry and involve the climbing community at large to help support the AFLCC efforts. He solicited climbing filmmakers to contribute short, inspiring climbing films to include in the All Access DVD.
Petzl North America covered the production costs for the DVD, while the filmmakers donated their work. Included are films of climbers such as Steph Davis, Cory Richards, Kevin Jorgenson, Erik Weihenmayer and Chris Sharma among others.
The All Access DVD can be purchased through the Access Fund Store and from Mountain Gear online. You will also have the chance to buy the All Access DVD at various climbing festivals and events including next week's Banff Film Festival.
