Breckenridge, Colorado company Rocky Mountain Underground has recently stormed onto the ski scene. Looking to differentiate themselves by not only attention to detail but with superior customer service, you will automatically become an integral part of the design team when you buy your first pair of RMU Skis.
Rocky Mountain Underground was started by Mike Waesche, along with a couple friends Luke Allen and Alex Paul, in a living room with a hand built ski press. The team worked other jobs to afford the original materials to get the first RMU skis under their and their friends feet.
RMU now has a full line of skis with professional manufacturing, while demand for their skis has grown considerably, simply by word of mouth. Three skis now make up the 2010/2011 line. The Diam was the first RMU ski design that started it all, a real park slayer that will also comfortably ride the rest of the mountain. The Professor is a true powder ski with camber and rocker technology and the Guyot (pictured above) meets the demands of all you Telemark and AT skiers.
Once you purchase a pair of RMU Skis, you are registered into the member program where you will receive technical design and news emails on up coming products or events. In return, RMU wants to know your thoughts on everything from product design to next year's ski graphics.
The RMU Skis retail for $580-$800 and can be purchased from the company website.
