On October 30th, KEEN will officially move beyond footwear and make their first foray into apparel with the new KEEN Hybrid Pants. Annoyed with the mobility offered by regular straight leg styles, KEEN added design elements to make the pants not only comfortable, but enable you to go outside and freely play.
As footwear designers use a last to create shoes that form correctly to our feet, KEEN thought- why not use a last for creating pants? The result, pants that you can move in and pants that fit like your favorite pair of KEENs.
Some features of the Hybrid Pants include a double reinforced hem at the cuff for added durability. The Rotary Flex Knee and gusset are part of a system of multiple stitching angles to give you better flex in the legs while you are running around outside.
Two security style cargo pockets offer you extra storage space. The left leg pocket is perfect for keeping your cell phone, while the right leg Evr Lok zipper pocket will protect your money and keys, even as you are hanging upside down in the trees.
High cut, cavernous hand pockets ensure nothing falls out as you sit or recreate. A brass zipper, double riveted button, and double reinforced belt loops guarantee your pants will always stay up when you want then to.
The KEEN Hybrid Pants will be available for order from the KEEN website starting this Wednesday.
