OtterBox Launches Line of Rugged Coolers

You may know OtterBox as the bombproof phone case company. A staple for outdoor enthusiasts since 1998, the company now gets set to introduce a line of rugged coolers. Will OtterBox be the first to give Yeti a real run for their money?

The Venture line coolers marry advanced cooling technology with OtterBox durability. The design is certified bear-resistant, can hold ice for up to 14 days, and has been drop tested for durability on every side and edge, empty and full.

One of the unique features of the Venture coolers is that they can be customized to fit any type of adventure. An integrated mounting system lets you attach a cutting board, dry storage tray, and separators to help organize and maximize the internal space. You can also add on a sidetable, cup holders, and drybox clips.

The Venture coolers come in three sizes — Venture 25 ($250), Venture 45 ($350) and Venture 65 ($400) — and are designed and manufactured in the U.S. The Venture 25 comes with a bottle opener accessory that snaps securely to the front of the cooler. The Venture 45 and Venture 65 both include a bottle opener and dry storage tray. Other features include sturdy one-hand operated latches, anti-slide rubber feet, and dual carry handles.

The OtterBox coolers comes in three color combos — white and blue, tan and green, and Realtree Xtra camo.

To go with the coolers, OtterBox also introduces the Elevation tumbler line in 10-, 20- and 64-ounce sizes. These stainless steel tumblers are copper lined and feature a sweat-resistant design. The Elevation 20 ($30) can be combined with a shaker lid for making cocktails at camp, french press lid for your morning cup of joe, infuser lid for making tea, or the thermal lid to keep your soup warm all day. The Elevation 64 ($90) stores enough beer to keep your crew happy over the weekend.

The OtterBox Venture coolers and Elevation tumblers will start shipping soon.
