Lezyne Launches Mega Series of Bike Computers

Lezyne Mega XL

At Eurobike earlier this month, Lezyne launched a series of large format GPS cycling computers. The Mega XL and Mega C are packed with features and long battery life while maintaining a relatively affordable price point.

For navigation, you can download maps via the Lezyne GPS Ally phone app or the GPS Root website. Once saved, you can build routes, search for an address or simply tap a destination for instant navigation—even if you venture into the no service zone. Once you set out for a ride, you get turn-by-turn directions with a map that shows where you are and where you need to go.

Lezyne Track allows you to share your ride in real time with friends and family—just turn it on in the GPS Ally phone app and add your recipient’s email addresses. When you start recording a ride a hyperlink will be sent to each address that connects to a map tracking your current location, ride progress and ride data. When connected to the app, you also get phone notifications like calls and texts.

Both Mega bike computers feature larger displays — the Mega XL can display up to 10 data fields on each of the fives screen and the Mega C up to eight data fields. They also boast long battery run times of 48 hours and 32 hours respectively.

In addition to your phone, the cycling computers link with your bike sensors as well as most electronic drivetrains. And once you upload a ride via the app or website, it will automatically sync with Strava or other popular training platforms. Strava Live segments are also supported on the platform.

Both the Mega XL and Mega C retail for $200 and will start shipping soon.
