Tepui Launches Upcycle Program

Tepui Upcycle

Earlier this week, Tepui launched Tepui Upcycle — a program designed to minimize the brand’s impact on landfills and turn used tent materials into new adventure gear. Customers can send in old tent travel covers in exchange for a new cover with updated Tepui logo and a unique backpack or duffle crafted from the usable material in the returned travel covers.

So how does the new Tepui Upcycle program work? First, choose your new travel cover and type of bag you would like. Then Tepui will send your new travel cover, duffle bag or backpack, and return slip. Pack your old travel cover into the mailing box, and send it back to Tepui where it will be repurposed into a new durable and functional accessory.

Each upcycled gear bag is uniquely made, and the placement of the printed logo (if any) may vary. And if you don’t have a travel cover to trade in, you can purchase your own upcycled gear directly from the Tepui website.

Both the Upcycle Duffel Bag ($60) The Upcycle Backpack ($50) are made from a sturdy, water-resistant PVC material. The 22-liter backpack features a full padded 15″ laptop sleeve pocket, inner organizer pockets, and exterior front pocket. You’ find mesh water bottle sleeves on both side of the pack. The duffel is fully lined with a grey nylon pack cloth and offers 24 liters of storage capacity.
