Rip Curl has released the updated Mirage boardshort in time for the summer surfing season. A high performance surfing short, the new Mirage line is loaded with Rip Curl's most innovative technologies. The Mirage 3, Mirage Elasto ES3 and the Mirage Spacer ES3 are so lightweight and comfortable, you will feel as though you were surfing naked.
The new Mirage boardshorts are made from Rip Curl's Quick Dry Quadroflex fabric, a new four-way super stretch hydrophobic material. Combined with electromagnetic welded seams, you get a super lightweight boardshort for better performance. The welded seams come with a lifetime warranty and since there is no stitching involved, you will reduce your chance of getting rashes in critical areas.
The boardshorts also feature a curved inner gusset for a better fit and elimination of seams in the crotch area. A perforated flow system on each leg moves water and air through the short to reduce unnecessary drag.
The Rip Curl Waffle Waistband increases grip and comfort around your waist while a slim, flexible fly eliminates the need for velcro or a bulky design. The fly is held together by a streamlined drawcord covered in silicon ribbing for ultra grip.
