New Julbo Goggles With Camel Lens Technology

Picture 69

For Fall 2011, Julbo has taken their award winning Camel lens technology and integrated it into a line of freeride goggles. With a larger fit, anti-fog and anti-dazzle protection, these high-end goggles unite cutting edge lens technology with comfort and style.

Julbo's Camel lens is photochromic and polarizing, offering evolving protection as it darkens and lightens according to the intensity of the light. The lens will transition from a Category 2 for low light below the treeline, up to a Category 4 for intense light above the treeline and on glaciers.

The Down goggle (pictured above) features a double spherical Camel lens that gives you visual clarity with a mirrored look from the outside. The Front Venting Airflow system offers natural ventilation in any type of conditions. The Down goggle will retail for $100.

Julbo Orbiter Goggles

The Orbiter sports a larger size photochromic cylindrical Camel lens. Dual density soft foam with the Extended Outrigger and Ad Strap for helmet compatibility make this the perfect goggle for avid skiers and snowboarders. The Orbiter will come in 6 colors and retail for $170.

Julbo Bang Goggles

The high-tech looking Bang features a Silver or Blue Flash and Orange lens that blocks 87% of visible light to protect your eyes from damaging UVA and UVB rays. The Flash treatment gives the lens a mirror effect which reinforces the filtering of visible light. The Bang will come in 7 different color combinations and retail for $90.
