This summer, Vaude will release the world's first bluesign approved tent. Made from organic cotton and recycled materials, the Blue One Tent will help you enjoy the outdoors while taking care of it at the same time.
Vaude is one of Europe's most sustainability focused brands. This year, ISPO presented Vaude with the first ever Company Ecolution Award in recognition of the company's sustainability activism across their entire range of products.
The two-person Blue One Tent is the first tent to be made completely with bluesign certified materials and manufactured under their strict environmental standards for textiles. The tent fabric is comprised of 65% technical organic cotton rip-stop and 35% recycled polyester made from PET bottles. No additional dyes were used, hence the natural Ecru color of the tent.
Weighing 2.35 kg, the Blue One Tent is designed to withstand even the stormiest of weather. Aluminum poles and external pole sleeves give extra advantages in weight and stability. A two-sided, silicone coated outer tent fly provides heavy rain protection, UV resistance and longevity for your tent.
The Vaude Blue One Tent will retail for around $480 or €350 and be available starting this summer.
