So, you bought a drone and you’ve been capturing epic footage during the day. Awesome. But what happens when you want to film at night? To ensure the camera keeps rolling after dark, Light & Motion created the Seca 2200d drone light.
Optimized for smaller drones such as the 3DR Solo, DJI Phantom and Inspire, the integrated the Seca 2200d comes with a GoPro interface that is both easy to mount and stable. Custom-engineered optics with four Cree LEDs provide a 24-degree beam with a with 2200 lumens of output on high, 1100 lumens on medium, and 550 lumens on low. Run time will vary from 40 minutes to 160 minutes depending on output level.
The Seca 2200d runs off of its own 2-cell battery, leaving the drone with full power for maximum flight time. This modular design allows freedom to separately mount the light head and battery for proper balancing. Additional batteries can be added to ensure that, even in the most remote setting, you have the runtime to get the shot. A full recharge of the battery takes around 2 hours and 45 minutes.
The drone light weighs 266 grams and is waterproof up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
The Light & Motion Seca 2200d drone light retails for $380 and is available now.
