The new Liquid Image APEX HD+ snow goggles not only record Full HD video, but are also Wi-Fi enabled to keep you connected on the slopes this winter. Using the corresponding free app on your phone, you can stream your live point of view, watch recorded video, or use your phone as a remote control.
The Apex HD+ snow goggles contain a 135 degree wide angle lens that can be rotated 30 degrees to dial in the best angle for your ski or snowboarding run. The camera takes 12.0MP still images and can be set up in continuous shot mode. In video mode, the camera records either HD1080P Video (1920×1080) at a rate up to 30 frames per second or HD720P video (1280×720) at a rate up to 60 frames per second.
The camera uses Wind Guard Audio to record better sound when you are really moving and is water resistant to withstand rain, sleet, snow, or a quick submersion in water. A rechargeable lithium battery will record up to 2 hours of video and you can carry extra batteries with you if you plan to record even more.
When you get back to the lodge, you can download all your files to your computer either through the High Speed USB cable or from the Micro SDHC card. The snow goggles come with an 8GB Micro SDHC card but can work with up to 32GB.
The Liquid Image Apex HD+ snow goggles feature two anti-fog, 100% UV Protected lenses, two straps, and replaceable face foam. The snow goggles come in black, white, or grey and retail for $399.99.
