Collapsible water bottle maker Platypus has taken the next step and expanded into hydration packs. The new Platypus Origin line will include five hydration packs that are perfect for a variety of day and overnight activities.

Platypus Big Zip SL
hydration reservoir is the foundation of every pack. The Big Zip SL has the SlideLock leak-free closure which opens wide for easy filling and cleaning. The BPA-free film is treated with an all-natural SlimeGuard antimicrobial treatment to keep it taste-free. A quick-disconnect hose makes it easy to swap packs or remove the hydration reservoir for refill.
The Platypus hydration packs feature a designated hydration compartment that will fit both a 2L and 3L reservoir without affecting the capacity of the pack itself. Multiple tubing options enable you to position the bite valve where you are most comfortable.
The hydration packs are made from a technical, lightweight, weatherproof fabric and weather resistant zippers. Pressure relieving BioCurve ventilated center back panels keep your back cool while hiking and numerous gear loops are available for attaching your helmet, hiking poles or other tools.
The five Origin hydration packs range from the Origin 3, a pack with a 2L hydration reservoir and 3L of storage space, good for a quick trail run, up to the Origin 32.22, a pack with a 3L hydration reservoir and 32L of storage space, perfect for those multi-night trips or alpine ascents.
